We weren't planning on buying a farm last year but somehow this is where we've ended up. We LOVED our last house, it was great for entertaining, great for guests, lovely and open and very comfortable BUT as it always is, we wanted more, we hoped and dreamed for more, we had pictures and plans and ideas about our ideal, the perfect place and then one day in the good old post weekly, there it was!
Four bedroom mudbrick home on 160 acres of mixed farming and BUSH just 10 minutes from town! House needed a lotof attention and a LOT of money thrown at it but here it was! Why hadn't someone else bought it? Destiny? :) Anyway, I'm being a bit dramatic. The buying process was not fun, the selling of our previous home wasn't that much fun either but the enormous relief when we could drive through the farm gates and know it was ours and we OWNED it fair and square was just amazing! So THIS BLOG is about our journey, our adventures, our mistakes and our triumphs. I hope to update regularly and I hope to be interesting enough to attract some readers! Blessings Always, M
