Aug 2 Sooo just did a heap of measuring at the farm with Ames, SO freezing cold fiddling with a measuring tape and trying to write with ice fingers. Major winds blowing and mud everywhere...but looking very promising!

Dec 1 Getting power on at the farm on tuesday! Maurice is installing the last of the windows today and we have a giant slushy mud mess in our driveway!Road base needed!
Jan 3 Two more door handles to go on and we can lock you out! But without a kitchen or bathroom it hardly seems worth the trouble :)
Jan 10 All coming along nicely! Been sanding and varnishing today, waz is putting the finishing touches on the battery room, Maurice comind wed/thurs to prepare the bathrooms for tiles!! Paint due to arrive this week from Ecolour so I can begin painting ceilings...a most loathed job! But all a step closer to living there!!

  1. Hey Mel

Your house is going to be gorgeous, love the tree. We researched mud brick many years ago when we were still on the move with the RAAF, the mud brick homes we looked at were nowhere as great as yours. Too tired for that now, so we live in a shed :D

When will it be finished? How far out of town are you an on which side?

Looking forward to more posts about your place, we might come and check it out when we are down in April if you are up for some visitors

    Kathryn :)
